Nora goes to the bookshelf and yells “DAAA!” For ‘go’ if she wants you to count to 3 and say go so she can run across the room.
Ben says yes like “esh?” in this cute little way.
Sometimes when I offer food Ben makes “mMm” high pitched noise like “yum, that looks tasty!” Haha
They can stack blocks now!
They are learning colors, shapes and letters and can point to all the basic ones when we ask.
Nora has become so affectionate. She gives the best hugs, laying her head on your shoulder. She also loves kisses and comes up to you with a closed-mouth smile going “mmmm” if she wants you to kiss her. Then she plants one on you and stays with her lips on yours for at least five seconds. So funny.
They gave each other a high five for the first time on 9/16
They give each other kisses spontaneously sometimes. My heart!
Ben always kisses with an open mouth
Nora always leans in and goes “mmmm” when she wants a kiss
Now that the couch is away from the window, they want to climb on the shoe rack constantly (post-edit: it broke within weeks from them standing on it and Ben losing his balance and falling on it. He was fine, it was not. We had to move it on top of the 6 foot tall bookshelf.)
Nora must hold her animals a specific way. She likes to hold them on their backs so their heads are toward her. It’s so funny and cute to watch her manipulate her little fingers around, twisting it around until it’s in juuuuust the right spot.
Ben waves with his hand backwards, so it looks like he’s waving to himself.
Ben started saying “Apple” and “flower”
They know a lot of letters and what sound each of the letters make.
They like to dip their food in sauce like ranch or ketchup or bbq sauce. It’s so cute to watch them “dip dip.”
Ben has the most glorious bouncy run, with his hands raised on either side of him and this little pouf of hair flying up on the top of his head. It’s the BEST.
Nora’s hair is getting longer, and she even gets a little curl in the back. Adorable.
They started NURSERY officially at the end of this month. Woo! They’ve already been in there with me for three months so it should be an easy transition.
