Mom and Dad were here for a few days and it was great to have them!
The first day, we took the kids to the Museum of Natural History, which I have been wanting to do for a long time. I knew they would love the animals, especially Nora. Predictably, she was thrilled and Ben was a little scared by all the loud kids yelling and the dark rooms. Haha. We went to Shake Shack afterward, which is always a good idea. Mom gave Ben a sip of her milkshake which turned into a long drag, he wouldn’t stop drinking it. So funny. Those kids do love their Shake Shack. True New Yorkers.
We went to dinner at Babbalucci and then Alexa and Chris watched the kids while Klane and I went with Mom and Dad to see Bright Star on Broadway. We loved it!
On Saturday after we got back from Rochester, we went down to Brooklyn Bridge Park and got takeout from Juliana’s. It was a nice evening and the sunset views of the bridge and skyline couldn’t be beat.
Sunday was Mother’s Day, it was so great to have my mom there with me at church. My parents had to leave for the airport after sacrament meeting. Their visit was a quick one but it was great to have them while they were here.
