We had a little taste of summer today. It was HOT outside! I had an appointment on 71st and Broadway first thing in the morning, and afterward I walked down to Whole Foods at Columbus Circle for groceries, enjoying the warm weather.
On the flip side, after hauling my hot laundry home in the middle of the afternoon, I had to strip down to my skivvies as soon as I got inside the apartment to avoid overheating. I guess there are some things about summer that are not my favorite.
Overall though, I’d say it was a good day. This summer is going to be awesome. Mike and Sara are staying with us for a brief stint (awesome sibling summer roommates party round two!!) and we’re super excited for that.
WOW CAN’T BELIEVE THE BEAUTIFUL TULIPS. They are so fantastic. I will be happy when you do not have to haul you laundry for such a long ways. That is not a fun job…..Summer today and cold weather next week here in Utah. The weather man can’t make up his mind…….
I know that long walk with your laundry and I think you are a champian. It does get hot and muggy in NY. Spring is absolutely turning a corner. We have had temperatures in the high 70′s and I think we jumped to the 80′s this last weekend. I always say we only have two seasons in Utah. Winter and Summer. tee hee

I talked to Sara briefly about NYC Roommates Round II and they seem pretty pumped! You guys will have so much fun.
