Dinner downtown, dessert uptown

Alexa and I met for girl talk over dinner at Parm on Tuesday. The chicken parm sandwich was messy and delicious, and it’s always great to catch up with Alexa. I’m inspired by her; she has such a lovely outlook on life, finds beauty in everyday moments, and approaches each day with purpose. She makes me want to get up earlier and take long walks and read more and bring my camera everywhere I go. I love the chance to feed off that every once in a while.

Of course, our evening couldn’t be complete without dessert, and after some deliberation we decided that the limited edition s’mores cupcake (with toasted marshmallow frosting. YES.) from Sprinkles was worth the train ride from SoHo to the Upper East Side. It did not disappoint.

    so, so fun! i loved parm and that cupcake might have been the best one i’ve ever had. and they only have them until february 2!!
