Know How 2 Go
by angie.
A while back, Klane flew out to Los Angeles to film his first TV commercials. He and Johnny were the art director/copy writer team behind the new campaign for Know How 2 Go, the Ad Council’s website designed to help teens prepare for college.
It was so cool to see the making of the TV ads (as well as the magazine and radio ads in the campaign) from start to finish; all the way from Klane and Johnny first coming up with the idea, to the commercials and ads being produced and finished. It was a long process involving lots of people and many rounds of edits along the way, and Klane and Johnny were the decision makers on every part of the process, from hiring directors and casting the teens in the videos, to picking shooting locations and set designs, to script writing, to making decisions on set at the shoots, to editing voice overs for radio spots, to even recording their own voices for part of the radio ads. There were a million other things that went into the campaign, too much to include here.
Obviously I’m really proud of Klane for all the work he’s done, and I think he’s pretty cool. The commercials have been finished and playing on TV for a few months now, and my mom reminded me that I never followed up and posted them. The end results turned out amazing, and I wanted to record them here!

These are awesome! Way to go, Klane! Now I feel like I know a celebrity haha.
These are amazing! Not just little homemade videos, but REAL commercials! I am very impressed.
