Summer Softball

by angie.

Klane started his summer softball league with DDB, so Joanna and I went down to the lower east side to be supportive wives and watch the game. The fields where they play are in the middle of nowhere, as far from public transit as you can get. It’s quite a hike to get there and I doubt we’ll make it to many games this summer, so we took some nerdy pictures while we were there.

I love that they agreed to do this:

Afterward we went for cheap dumplings in Chinatown. Always a good choice.

I LOL’ed at the boys’ posed photo, mostly because Johnny’s ankles are SO skinny. Angie and Johanna, you both look so pretty! I like the darker hair on both of you.

I am so glad you posted these. The pictures of Johnny and Klane made my day! It was a really far trip, but well worth it. Hope your time in Utah is going well!

It might be in the middle of nowhere, but seriously, look at that bridge view! Pretty much everything I do gets me thinking about how even the tiniest detail about life in NYC somehow manages to be exciting.
