Max Brenner with Joanna

by angie.

Tuesday’s birthday celebrations included dinner with my good friend Joanna from work. She’s also a November baby so we treated each other to dinner, and more importantly, to chocolate at Max Brenner. Over delicious appetizers, and then churros dipped in chocolate fondue and raspberry sauce, we discussed the perils of the dating world and Joanna’s dramatic love life. It’s so fun to hear other people’s dating dramas… and makes me glad I’m married. :) We had such a fun night and it worked out perfectly since Klane had to work late. Thank goodness for girlfriends!

And lest I should forget to include the ever-present photo of Central Park in my post…

I didn’t have my camera to properly capture this moment, but oh my goodness you should have been there. The breeze was blowing and the leaves were falling lightly from the trees all around. It was peaceful and absolutely gorgeous. God’s birthday gift to me on a Tuesday morning.

“Dating dramas” — hahaha! You are funny. What a fun and darling post. Thank heavens for girlfriends, right?

Angie, which CP trail is this? I think Hannah and I were on it yesterday! (Your photo is TEN times better than mine though.) Thank you, thank you for ALL your NYC pictures. My heart breaks every time I have to leave that city…

Btw, I meant to ditto your comment of “God’s gift” to you. That’s how we felt as we were strolling through the park yesterday. SUCH a glorious, magnificent gift. A world away from the Black Friday frenzy of 5th Avenue. Pure peace… And some really fun musicians.

Next time I come, I am gonna take you to The Loeb Boathouse.

Kathy, the photo is looking south on a path leading into the Central Park Zoo. I love that you were here and got to enjoy thanksgiving in the city. It makes me happy you visit so often, that gives me hope that when I move away, it doesn’t have to be the end of fun times in NYC. I want to be like you and visit often!

Oh and I would love to go to the Boathouse with you! I’ve always wanted to go but haven’t yet! It’s a date. :)
